Working Principle

The TAS5352ADDVR is an integrated circuit (IC) based amplifier that takes two channels of signal from an external source, and outputs both channels of audio signal simultaneously. Each of the amplifiers is designed for peak output power and features differential inputs, a bridge-tied load (BTL) output and 3.7V DC voltage. This chip also supports a wide range of audio data rates from 44.1 kHz to 384 kHz.On a basic level, the TAS5352ADDVR works by taking a differential input signal (a signal which is the difference between two signals, as opposed to a single signal) and amplifying it. First, the differential input signal is converted into a single signal by a differential-to-single-ended (DSE) converter, which can intelligently sense the voltage peak and mirror the signal onto both amplifier channels simultaneously. The amplified output signal is either single-ended (one channel of signal) or bridge-tied (both channels of signal simultaneous, but with opposite polarities).The TAS5352ADDVR also features patented Adaptive Nested Convergence Optimization (ANCO) technology, which minimizes distortion, providing low distortion and linear response across the full power range. It also features an I²S digital input for complex audio signals, and features a variety of features such as a programmable digital interface, an analog power control input, and a clock synchronization output. This chip is designed for low power consumption and high efficiency – the efficiency will vary depending on the output power and frequency of the signal being processed.
