The TB-14.31818MCE-T is quite a unique oscillator belonging to the MCE Series. It is designed for high-frequency applications due to a frequency range of 10 MHz to 14.31818 MHz.
The TB-14.31818MCE-T features a low profile and a resonator that has excellent frequency stability of ±50 ppm over the entire operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C (-40°C to +85°C optional). It also has excellent operating shock and vibration characteristics, making it suitable for a wide range of operating environments.
Application field
The TB-14.31818MCE-T is suitable for a variety of applications, including clock signal generation in radio transmitters, clock signal generation in time standard equipment, frequency references in test and measurements, and frequency control in switching power supplies.
Working Principle
The TB-14.31818MCE-T utilizes a piezoelectric-ceramic resonator as an oscillator element. The resonator is fixed to the base of the oscillator in its baseplate housing. The oscillation frequency of the resonator is determined by the resonator’s material characteristics and the distance between the electrodes.
The resonator is then connected to a circuit board that contains the electrical components necessary for the oscillation process, including capacitors, resistors, and transistors.
