The TB-25.000MBD-T oscillator operates on a crystal-controlled timing principle. It utilizes a 4‑pin S/M package for integration into electrical systems, and outputs a frequency signal with an accuracy of +/−25 PPM of its original frequency at its specified operating conditions.

The oscillator utilizes a custom ASIC to enable the frequency holding and stability. It processes a wide range of output signals, and produces an accurate frequency from its quartz crystal. The ASIC uses a built-in voltage-controlled oscillator to enable the frequency adjustment to its specified setting. The ASIC also controls the oscillator’s output routing, and provides a low-voltage shutdown mode.

The oscillator also features a wide dynamic range, with a startup current of 0.1µA and a maximum output current of 10µA. It can handle a wide range of temperatures, from -40°C to +85°C, and is capable of operating across a range of voltages, from 2.1V to 3.3V.
