An oscillator is a type of electronic circuit or component used to generate a signal. The TC-15.000MCD-T is a highly stable, temperature-compensated quartz crystal oscillator (TCXO) with a built-in temperature sensor. It is designed for applications that require an exceptionally accurate frequency reference over a wide temperature range.

Working Principle
The TC-15.000MCD-T uses an external temperature sensor (PTC) to measure the ambient temperature. The external temperature sensor allows for greater accuracy and stability of the oscillator over a wide temperature range than is possible with other TCXO configurations. This is achieved by providing a constant feedback signal to a temperature compensation circuit, which adjusts the oscillation frequency to ensure the most accurate and stable frequency output.
The oscillator frequency is maintained over a very wide temperature range, typically from -40°C to +85°C. In addition, the frequency is also very stable over the long-term; the short-term stability is specified in ppb (parts per billion). The frequency accuracy is also specified in ppb, and can be as low as ±2ppb over the full temperature range.
The TC-15.000MCD-T is available in a variety of different packages, allowing it to be easily integrated into a wide range of PCB designs. All packages are RoHS-compliant and feature a low noise output that is ideal for precision applications.
