Tantalum - Polymer Capacitors
TCJB226M016R0150 is a tantalum-polymer capacitor that is designed for space-constrained, high-performance applications. Working Principle
The capacitor has a dual role in many applications, providing low-loss and high-efficiency energy storage and an electrical filter. Tantalum polymers capacitors, like other Tantalum electrolytic capacitors, are constructed with a porous tantalum anode and a solid cathode. The dielectric is made of polymers (or polymers in combination with other materials). The capacitor\'s anode is also coated with anodizing polymer active material (ACT) to improve its safety, life and performance. The electrical current flows as electrons move between the anode and cathode through the electrolyte solution.
