Common Mode Chokes: TCK-092 Application Field and Working Principle
Common Mode Chokes (CMCs) are passive electrical components used to block the passage of common-mode currents, while offering very little impedance to differential-mode current. Common-mode currents arise not only from external sources, but also from normal operation of a device within its environment, and CMCs can be used to help filter out such currents.
