OscillatorsTD-12.000MBE-T is a form of oscillator, an electronic device designed to generate a continuous or near-continuous alternating signal with a given and controlled frequency -- typically low or in multiple harmonic forms. It is commonly used for electronic applications such as music amplifiers, radio transmitters, navigation systems, air traffic control systems, uninterruptible power supplies, signal generators and frequency discriminators.The TD-12.000MBE-T oscillator is a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) which provides excellent frequency stability and accuracy over a temperature range of –20°C to +70°C. It performs with a stability of +5ppm (parts per million) across the full range of operating temperature and can typically provide outputs direct of 10MHz and 2.5V.The TD-12.000MBE-T oscillator comprises a quartz-crystal oscillator, a thermal compensated crystal to maintain frequency stability over a given temperature range and electronic circuitry configured to generate an output signal in accordance with the generated quartz-crystal oscillation. The oscillator requires a driving voltage of 5V and a control voltage of 2.5V to ensure the thermal compensated crystal operates correctly and accurately.The device is suitable for applications requiring an accurate and stable frequency reference and can be used in a wide variety of applications and environments. It offers excellent short-term aging performance characteristics (less than 1ppm over a period of one week) and a low power consumption of just 1.8mA. The TD-12.000MBE module has an operating frequency range of 10MHz (nominal) with a 0.5PPM adjustment accuracy and a maximum phase noise of –78dBc/Hz@1KHz Offset.In summary, the TD-12.000MBE-T provides excellent frequency stability and accuracy over a wide temperature range, making it an ideal choice for applications that require precise, low jitter frequency control.
