The TFC connection system, including the TFC-105-01-F-D-RA, is popularly used in various applications for its excellent performance in circular and rectangular connectors. This type of connector and its accompanying header come with two types of contacts: male pins (which are interchangeable with receptacle contacts at the point of contact) and a female receptacle. As far as contact arranged horizontally, there are a total of 7 pins (4 male and 3 female), with the male pins being the points of contact.

As the contacts on the TFC-105-01-F-D-RA are found in both horizontal and vertical orientations, and come with either a raised, plated body with non-rolling threads or a round and robust body with rolling threads, it can cater to a variety of applications. This helps to maintain a higher pressure during the entire electrical connection, focussing the contact forces to extreme areas, whilst also prolonging the life of the connector.

In the second step, a resilient bushing, typically made of stainless steel, is used to lock the contact in place, providing secure electrical contact in the most critical environments. The connection is further enhanced by the use of flexible locks, allowing the user to adjust the connection to suit their needs.

With its robust V-notched design, the TFC-105-01-F-D-RA is an ideal solution for applications where space is tights, due to its relatively compact design, and for applications which face challenging environmental conditions.
