The two input pins allow the user to program the motor current, create predefined light curves, as well as program multiple on/off/dimming transitions. Additionally, the TLC59711PWPR can be configured in a PWM (pulse width modulation) mode to reduce current ripple.The TLC59711PWPR features an advanced safety protection system that prevents any current surge from damaging the LEDs by monitoring the output current and limiting the current during over-current conditions. The active protection system also allows for an adjustable delay time before the voltage regulation takes place.
