TLE4729GNT is a motor driver controller from Infineon’s family of Advanced Mixed-Signal & Motor Control products. It is designed to provide an economical and practical solution for the control of three-phase motors. This motor driver is based on the current sensing technique, supports simple indexing and has an integrated logic logic device.

TLE4729GNT is designed for applications such as washing machines, dishwashers and small appliances, where a low overall cost and space saving are of prime importance. Working Principle

The TLE4729GNT is based on the current sensing technique, where the controller senses the three-phase current of the motor, and then varies power to the motor accordingly to achieve the desired speed and torque. To control the motor, the controller generates two sine-shaped PWM signals according to the motor\'s current draw. Moreover, this motor driver has a built-in PWM-Quadrature Decoder, which makes it suitable for applications requiring an indexing control function. The PWM-Quadrature Decoder enables the motor to be accurately positioned, and can be used to determine and control the speed, direction and location of the motor.
