The TSM-119-02-TM-DV connector is a rectangular connectors -headers, male pins. TSM connectors is also known as T-BridgeMate and is one of the most rugged, versatile and cost-effective series of connectors available today. TSM products are widely used in a variety of industries including industrial automation, automotive, gaming, and consumer electronics, and have also been used for the military and aerospace applications.
The TSM-119-02-TM-DV connector is made up of two mated connector halves. It has a durable nylon housing and the front cable contacts are mounted in a precision-formed dielectric cup with an insulated aluminum backshell providing EMI/RFI shielding. The design of the TSM product line makes installation quick and easy.
This connector has a 19 position version (TSM-119-02-TM-DV) and up to 73 position versions. The female portion of the connector contacts are crimp-only contacts type and are terminated using Class G pre-insulated flag terminals. The contacts are soldered onto the board via standard soldering processes. The male portion consists of a 2-position header with an integral locking clip that engages the female portion when fully mated.
The TSM-119-02-TM-DV connector offers excellent electrical performance. With a minimum contact resistance of 20 milliohms, and a maximum insulation resistance of 50 Megaohms, it provides good signal transmission and stability. In addition, the minimum dielectric withstanding voltage of the connector is 600V AC, a significant safety feature that eliminates potential risks.
The working principle of the TSM-119-02-TM-DV connector is based on two mating halves.
