The TSOP4836 is an infrared remote receiver in the form of an 8-legged surface-mounted module, produced by Vishay Intertechnology. It consists of a photodiode and signal-processing circuit. The photodiode is modulated in the useful bandwidth of about 38 kHz. This module is a sensitive receiver, designed for narrow band amplitude shift keying (ASK) with an output active at logic low, for remote control systems.

Applications

Working Principle
