The TXR41AB00-1610BI-CS6052 is a cable clamp and backshell covering system designed for medium size diameter cables. It\'s typically used to provide a neat finish on a cable or to provide added strain relief at a point along the length of the cable. The cable clamp is designed to provide either 90° or 180° fitting when combined with the locking collar, whilst the flexible backshell and locking collar is designed to facilitate any mechanical and environmental strain relief requirements.

Working Principle

The TXR41AB00-1610BI-CS6052 system is comprised of a flexible backshell, cable clamp and locking collar. To apply the system to a cable, the cable is inserted into the cylinder shaped backshell and the cable clamp is then fitted onto the backshell. The locking collar is then tightened to secure the cable clamp in place. By tightening the locking collar, a 360° strain relief can be applied, preventing the cable from moving and minimizing bending. The flexible backshell allows the cable to exit in two directions, such as to the left or right, ensuring the cable remains undamaged during flexing.
