The UCC28710D is a high-efficiency, high-isolation, quasi-resonant flyback controller designed to reduce system cost, size and complexity. It is widely used in the application field to generate the power needed for various AC/DC switching power supplies, offline switchers, and switch-mode supplies.

The UCC28710D uses Peak Current Mode Control techniques with Advanced Burst Mode features and can be optimized to address various system requirements while also reducing or eliminating EMI filtering components. Peak current mode control ensures a stable and reliable operation with programmable current and cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
