When the LED current is changing, the threshold current sense (ICS) signal will also change. When the LED current is high, the threshold current sense signal will be low, and when the LED current is low, the threshold current sense signal will be high.The LED current is regulated by comparing the threshold current sense signal to the reference voltage (Vref). The LED current will then be adjusted to maintain the desired LED current in response to varying LED currents and/or LED current sources.In addition to controlling the LED current, UCC28811D also features protections that help to protect the device from damage.
