Working Principle

This device features low Start-up Time, Tight Regulation, Low Noise and Adjustable Output Voltage, Over-Voltage and Short-Circuit Protection, Programmable Soft-Start, Automatic Top-off and Digital Temperature Monitoring. It also has built-in over-current and dead-time protection.

The UCC2889DTR provides a voltage mode control with adjustable error amplifier and current sense circuit. The output voltage, current, and frequency can be programmed through external components. The device has an internal soft-start circuit that helps to limit the inrush current. The soft-start circuit also helps to reduce EMI noise.
