Working Principle of UP5-10R-R:
The UP5-10R-R application field mainly includes switching regulators, power inverters, motor drive amplifiers, filters, DC/DC converters, LED drivers and other inductor applications. This type of inductor combines the primary and the secondary winding in one winding. It produces a steady current that is proportional to the long-term rate of change of a given voltage. The fixed inductor structure includes a soft magnetic core made of silicon-iron or ferrite, two coils with a common center pole, and a coil former. The basic principle of operation of the UP5-10R-R is based on the electromagnetic induction and the generated flux.
The primary winding works as a pulse inductor circuit, while the secondary winding works as a smoothing inductor. Here, the primary winding conducts the current and produces the electromagnetic flux while the secondary winding stores this flux and uses it to induce a secondary voltage when the primary current dissipation stops. The electromagnetic flux induced by the primary winding in UP5-10R-R is also used to magnetize the soft magnetic cores of the inductor.
The magnetic properties of the UP5-10R-R are mainly defined by the frequency, amplitude, and waveform of the applied voltage.
