The working principle of UP5-471-R lays in Faraday’s law of electromagnetic devices. It states that when a conductive wire turns throughout a magnetic field, an electric field forms. This shifting electric field will periodically induce current flowing through wire. And this phenomenon is known as Self Induction. The electric current in the conductive wire causes a magnetic field, known as Self Inductance, which in turn interacts with the incoming magnetic field. The strength of the energy induced in the wire is determined by the size of the original magnetic field.

The UP5-471-R comes with a wide range of terminal arrangements such as wire-winding, straight-lead, Kinkless terminal, etc. It also features an excellent temperature stability and it is efficient in shock and vibration withstanding. Besides, its self shielding structure ensures a low external magnetic field.
