Introduction

Working Principle

This architecture consists of two single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switches, two low noise amplifier (LNA) stages, two parallel-connected diodes, two amplifiers and two shielding resistors. When an oscillating signal is imputed into the core of the mixer, it multiplies the frequency of the RF input signal and the result is an upconverted RF signal, which is fed to the RF output of the mixer.
