- The UVT-5-100 is an ultra-precise optical measuring system utilized for the measurement of linear dimensions at production line speed. It is widely used in a variety of industries including automotive, aircraft, electrical, aerospace and medical industries. The system consists of an optical sensor or “eye” with a connected electronic processor. The precision of the UVT-5-100 is such that measurements within 0.01mm can be performed.

- The UVT-5-100 is used to measure the linear dimensions of parts and components in a variety of industries. It measures components such as helical grooves, radial formed surfaces, O-rings, automotive transmissions, bolts, aircraft wings and a variety of gears. The system’s precision of 0.01mm makes it is a perfect choice for applications requiring highly precise measurements with very low tolerances. - Working Principle
- The UVT-5-100 consists of an optical sensor or “eye” connected to an electronic processor. The eye consists of a linear array of photosensitive elements which are directed at the component to be measured. The electronic processor interprets the signals sent from the optical sensor and then determines the linear distance of the measured component. The processor then converts the measured value into a digital output which can be read on a small display panel. The precision of the UVT-5-100 is such that measurements within 0.01mm can be performed.
