This power integrated module (PIM) utilizes the company’s latest Advance High-Frequency Voltage Transformation (AHFVT) technology. It uses a zero-voltage switch (ZVS) full-bridge topology to provide 24V/100W of output power.

VE-24P-CU-F1 Working Principle

VE-24P-CU-F1 employs the ZVS full bridge topology which is well-known for its low voltage stress, low input current distortion, and high efficiency. It utilizes advanced high-frequency voltage transformation technology which combines a frequency-selective network and unique control algorithms to provide the optimized voltage transformation.

The DC-DC converter has 3-stage configurations, where the input stage is a wide input range DC/DC converter, while the output stage is a voltage doubler and an active clamp resonant converter. The voltage transformation happens in the middle stage which consists of the AHFVT network that is controlled by PWM (pulse width modulation) to shape the output current to fulfill the DC-DC converter requirements. This PIM includes a digital controller with a range of features providing closed-loop output voltage regulation and enabling functions such as current limiting and over-temperature protection.

The primary side of the PIM includes a digital input pin to provide an external control signal that can be used to adjust the output voltage. The PIM also provides external synchronization, power good output, and enable pins to allow flexible control and monitoring. Other features of VE-24P-CU-F1 include efficiency up to 96.7%, a wide input voltage of 9-38V, an excellent load and line regulation, and an extra wide environmental temperature range of -40℃~+105℃.
