DC-DC converters are essential components of nearly every modern electronic system, from communication and computing platforms to automotive and aerospace applications. The VE-2TT-EX is a high power DC-DC buck voltage converter with an output range of 7V to 21V. It is designed for applications requiring a non-isolated buck converter with wide input voltage and high power conversion.The VE-2TT-EX features a high efficiency synchronous metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) to convert a wide DC input into a regulated DC output. To ensure a high-efficiency synchronous operation, the MOSFET is actively controlled to match the input voltage. It uses an analog closed-loop control system to accurately regulate the output voltage under varying input voltage conditions. The converter provides a wide input range of 4.5V to 60V and a maximum output current of 150A.The VE-2TT-EX is equipped with a pulse-width modulation (PWM) control circuit to ensure a precise control of the voltage output. It uses an internal control loop to combine the voltage feedback and the current sense inputs in order to provide an accurate control of the output voltage. The control loop consists of an analog error amplifier, a comparator and an active loop regulator. The pulse-width modulation frequency is adjustable from 1-26KHz.In addition to its excellent PWM control capabilities, the VE-2TT-EX also features Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Over Current Protection (OCP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP) and Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO) capabilities. These features are essential in protecting the system from damaging over-temperature, over-current, short-circuit or under-voltage conditions.The VE-2TT-EX is a highly efficient, reliable DC-DC buck voltage converter which is designed for a wide array of applications requiring non-isolated DC-DC conversion. Its wide input voltage and high power conversion capabilities make it an ideal choice for high power applications in automotive, aerospace and other mission-critical systems.
