The VE-B02-EX is a low voltage DC-DC converter from Venture Corporation, one of the leading manufacturers of DC-DC converters. This low voltage DC-DC converter was designed to provide a precise voltage regulated output from an unregulated input voltage range. It is extremely easy to install and maintain and is suitable for a variety of applications, including LED lighting, motor control and process control applications.The VE-B02-EX is a very reliable and efficient DC-DC converter, which can independently regulate the output voltage across a wide range of input voltages. The converter has a wide input voltage range from 6-36V and a regulated output voltage of 6-26V. It also boasts of a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius and is therefore suitable for applications in extreme temperature environments.The working principle of the VE-B02-EX is based on a switching topology. It consists of four main stages - rectification, voltage stabilization, regulation, and isolation. In the rectification stage, the incoming AC voltage is rectified to its DC equivalent by full bridge rectification using four power MOSFETs. In the voltage stabilization stage, six buck-boost converters regulate the DC voltage to the required regulated voltage. In the regulated stage, voltage regulation is achieved by a negative feedback loop, which ensures that the output voltage is completely independent of the input voltage. The last stage is isolation, which is achieved by an opto-isolator.
