Working Principle

VE-B4K-EW-S DC–DC converters use EPCOS\' Enhanced WhipSaw® technology to provide a very rapid voltage pressure, along with an ultra-fast transient response. This ensures precise output voltage regulation with very low output ripple and noise while providing improved efficiency over traditional non-EPCOS DC–DC converters.

Additionally, the integrated SMBus or PMBus control interface allows the converters to be programmed and monitored remotely, making them suitable for various industrial, IOT, and networking applications. The converters also feature a synchronizable switch frequency of up to 2.2 MHz, which enables the integration of multiple converters for higher current applications, while also reducing EMI.

VE-B4K-EW-S DC–DC converters are designed to operate over a temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC, making them suitable for a number of industrial and other applications.
