The output voltage is regulated by means of a high frequency Dropping resistor, such that a voltage drop is only created when the output load is low.The working principle of the VE-B5B-EX is based on a buck topology along with the transformer arrangement. The basic concept of a buck converter is that energy from the input voltage is transferred to the load via a series of voltage rectifier circuits. This energy is then further optimized by the use of a voltage regulator circuit.
