This DC DC converter utilizes a PUR-IY current loop to provide precise regulation and ripple-free output on a wide output range.The VE-JTM-IY-F4 DC DC converter is an isolated switching mode power converter that operates from an input voltage of 8-32 VDC input and provides a regulated output of +5 to +12VDC. This will establish a frequency of the output voltage which is monitored by an internal peak current control loop. This is then fed back to the PIC-IY circuit to ensure that the peak current is adequately optimized for the load requirements. It then uses a synchronous rectification technique to leverage the high levels of efficiency in order to draw peak current whenever required to sustain output voltage, hence providing a regulated output without any changes in line or load regulation.The VE-JTM-IY-F4 contains several built-in safety features to provide a high degree of reliability. These include over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, and short-circuit protection. The short-circuit protection will detect if the output voltage exceeds the setpoint or if the power switch gets connected together, and will immediately shuts down the output voltage.
