The operating principle of the VI-210-MU can be summarized as follows. The power factor corrector (PFC) stage first rectifies the input AC source voltage and then boosts it to an intermediate voltage level. Then inPSFBstage, the rectified intermediate DC voltage is further transformed to the adjustable output voltage through the phase shift full bridge (PSFB) stage. The PSFB stage uses a set of series switches to form a full bridge rectifier. A half-cycle control method is used for controlling the output voltage of the converter so that it remains constant even under heavy load changes.

The VI-210-MU has many advantages over traditional DC-DC converters. It has excellent voltage regulation, high power conversion efficiency, low input current THD, and adjustable output voltage, making it perfect for many different applications.
