The regulated output is capable of delivering up to 20A with an efficiency of up to 94%. It is also available in 4 different versions to suit both open frame and U-channel mounting methods, allowing the product to seamlessly integrate into a variety of existing power systems.The integrated modules enable the VI-24T-IX-F1 to operate with high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, flexibility, and reliability. Thanks to a space-saving design, the device is extremely versatile and compatible with a variety of components such as controllers, pumps, motors, LEDs, actuators, motors, and other industrial equipment. As a result, the device is ideal for applications in industrial automation, power distribution, and control systems.Additionally, thanks to its wide input range from 18 - 40VDC, no external components such as resistors are needed to adjust the input voltage. Most notably, the module is designed to reduce the application’s cost and complexity by providing simple plug-and-play installation, which is especially appealing for high volume products.The VI-24T-IX-F1 works by using a DC-DC converter circuit. It receives a DC input voltage from the existing power system (an unrestricted 18 - 40VDC) and outputs a fixed regulated voltage (3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 24V). The maximum output current is up to 20A to support the device’s large range of applications.In the DC-DC converter circuit, the VI-24T-IX-F1 uses a step-down transformer, as well as two switching MOSFETs. The incoming DC power is fed into a transformer, where it is converted into a low voltage AC waveform. This AC waveform is then converted back into a DC waveform which can be outputted at the desired voltage.The control circuit enables the device to automatically adjust the switching frequency based on the loadso that it can maintain a continuous and steady output voltage.
