Working Principle

The VI-252-MX is a self-contained unit with a single phase input and a single phase output. It is designed to convert the incoming AC power supply into a DC bus voltage of up to 150V, with a maximum rated output power of 5kW. The converter uses a combination of a transformer, rectifier and power factor correction circuitry to provide highly efficient and reliable power conversion.

The converter first rectifies the incoming AC voltage using a diode bridge rectifier. The rectified AC voltage is then filtered and further shaped using electrolytic capacitors and a choke, before being applied to the primary of the transformer. The transformer then transforms the input voltage into the required output voltage. The output voltage is then filtered and rectified using a diode bridge rectifier. This filtered and rectified voltage is then connected to the power factor correction circuitry, which corrects the power factor of the output voltage to match the input power factor.
