DC-DC converters take in a direct current (DC) voltage input, convert it to a different DC voltage output, and they regulate the output by controlling the duty cycle of the converter. The synchronous rectifier helps to reduce switching losses and allows for efficient conversion.The second technique employed by the VI-26P-MW-S is pulse-width modulation (PWM). By changing the duty cycle, the output voltage can be changed by the same amount in order to maintain a regulated flow of charge.
