DC DC Converters -- VI-26X-IY application field and working principle

DC-DC converters are electrical conversion devices that transfer energy from one DC voltage source to another DC voltage source. VI-26X-IY DC conversion line is a new generation of multi-interleaved high power conversion technology developed by KYC. It has the characteristics of wide input voltage range, high efficiency, high power density, and excellent EMC characteristics. It can be applied in consumer electronics, electric vehicles, industrial applications, military and aerospace products, medical and other fields.The VI-26X-IY DC conversion line is mainly used for battery charging. Its working principle is that the AC power is converted into DC power through the rectification process, and then a high frequency switching device is used to convert the DC power into multiple voltage output, and finally a synchronous rectification process is performed on the high frequency switch signal to obtain stable voltage output.The VI-26X-IY DC conversion line has two versions. One is called VI-260, which provides up to 2.6A output power and up to 15V input range; the other is called VI-261, which provides up to 5A output power and up to 30V input range. Both converters have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and complete EMI compliance with EN55022 Class B.The VI-26X-IY DC conversion line also adopts multiple parallel and multiple interleave technique for power, which can reduce the input current ripple and output voltage ripple. The synchronous rectification technology further enhanced the overall efficiency of the DC converter. The dynamic response performance of the VI-26X-IY DC conversion line has been tested by rigorous high frequency vibration and temperature shock professional test methods, and the results show that it has high dynamic response performance and good thermal stability.A key feature of VI-26X-IY is the power density. At the same input voltage and output power, the off-state power consumption of VI-26X-IY is only 10-15mW, which is much lower than the industry average, thus improving the overall power consumption of the system.
