VI-2TP-IW Application Field and Working Principle

VI-2TP-IW, which stands for Voltage-input-2-Terminal-Power-Isolation-Waterproof, is a DC-DC converter used in applications which require galvanic protection across the DC power supply. It is commonly used in automotive, telecommunications, CCTV, and industrial control applications. The VI-2TP-IW DC-DC converter provides galvanic isolation between the input and output side of the power supply, allowing for greater safety in terms of electric shock and power surge.

Additionally, the 24V version has a 5mm connector and 15A fuse for additional safety. This allows the converter to be used with any standard voltage input and output.
