Circuit Description

The VI-B3V-EY-F1 DC-DC converter is a step-up (boost) type DC-DC converter. It consists of an integrated, fixed frequency 600kHz PWM current mode control voltage regulator along with a power MOSFET. The internal MOSFET is used as a low impedance switch between the input and the output and it is controlled by the current mode PWM control circuit. The VI-B3V-EY-F1 is designed to regulate a 5V output voltage, with a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 6.5V.

The converter is designed to keep the output voltage of the converter at 5V, regardless of the input voltage.
