DC–DC converters are power conversion devices whose primary function is to convert a DC source of one voltage level into another, either higher or lower. DC–DC converters range in size from small, point-of-load devices that fit inside electronic equipment to large, multi-megawatt rectifiers required in utility-scale power plants. Voltage conversion is accomplished by manipulating the logic elements of the converter power circuit.

The VI-B44-CX-S DC–DC converter is a multi-purpose device suitable for various industrial applications. It is designed to convert an input DC voltage of 18 to 36 Volts and provide an output voltage of 3.3 to 13.8 Volts. The converter is capable of supplying up to 25 Amps, providing up to 400 Watts of power.

The VI-B44-CX-S is equipped with a variety of protections, including input polarity protection, overload protection, short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection. This ensures that the converter does not get damaged from unexpected conditions and provides reliable operation.
