DC-DC converter represents a wide range of power converters, which are able to change the voltage or current of DC power source. VI-J12-EZ-F4 is a medium power (up to 80W) DC/DC impact resistance closed-loop converter. It has the features of simple structure, wide input voltage range, high efficiency, fast transition time, and low cost. The highest 300 VDCDC input voltage and the highest 80 w output power make this converter suitable for high power output applications like aerospace, military, industrial, communication, computer, automotive and electrical etc.

The input and output of the VI-J12-EZ-F4 DC/DC converter is isolated so that the conversion efficiency is high. It provides an output voltage of +12VDC, adjustable from ±10% to ±20%, can be customized for special applications. The typical efficiency is up to 92%, and the switching frequency is up to 1 MHz. The maximum peak current is 10A, and the minimum output ripple voltage is less than 0.1V.

The working principle of VI-J12-EZ-F4 is based on forward converter topology. The input voltage is converted to a higher voltage by a step up transformer, then it is rectified and controlled to give the output voltage.
