The VI-J3K-IW-F2 is a particular kind of dc-dc converter with certain unique features. The output voltage is monitored by an internal voltage loop and adjusted by the internal control voltage Vref. When the voltage at the output reaches the desired voltage, the switching cycle stops and the output voltage is regulated by the absorption of energy from the output capacitor.
