The VI-JWD-IW has an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and an output voltage range of 0.8V to 12V.The VI-JWD-IW uses a half-bridge topology in which one switch is connected in series with the input voltage source, and the other switch is connected in parallel with the load. A PWM signal is then used to control the on and off times of each switch, allowing the VI-JWD-IW to continuously adjust its output voltage in order to regulate the load.The VI-JWD-IW also includes various protections against over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit. The converter has an efficiency rating of up to 95%, and can operate at switching frequencies up to 1MHz.
