Working Principle

The VI-JWN-CX-F1 Series utilizes a synchronous rectifier topology. This allows for a wide input voltage range and high efficiency throughout the input voltage range. The converters employ a two-stage conversion process. During the first stage, the input voltage is rectified and filtered by high frequency components. The result is a dc voltage, which is then converted to an intermediate ac voltage by an isolated transformer. In the second stage, this ac voltage is converted back to dc voltage, filtered and regulated using pulse width modulation (PWM).
