The Analog Front End (AFE) is the interface between the signal and the acquisition device whose role is to filter, buffer and amplify the signal, prepare it for conversion and effectively identify the various noise levels. The VSP2582RHNG4 is a monolithic, wideband, dynamically programmable two-channel instrumentation amplifier which is ideal for analog front end applications.

The VSP2582RHNG4 has two channels each with a dynamic range of between -6dB and +6dB extending to DC, with unity gain (>1kΩ) ensuring virtually noiseless operation. Its flexible signal conditioning options and high accuracy measurement capability makes it suitable for medical and industrial signal processing applications including accelerometers, pressure sensors, weighing systems and fluid flow. The components and settings of the device can be changed after fabrication, an important feature of the design.

The VSP2582RHNG4 employs a versatile circuit design which allow the user to control parameters such as gain, bandwidth and power consumption.
