WP3-S050VA1-R6000 rectangular connectors from Molex are a family of arrays, edge type, mezzanine (board to board) connectors designed for high-density application fields. The connectors offer a highly reliable and secure connection between two or more circuits, allowing for a robust performance in long-term applications.

The WP3-S050VA1-R6000 family of connectors are designed for flexible system designs that need to be modified or optimized during field deployments. The connectors consist of an array of male and female contacts supports 8, 10, 18, or 20 circuits for a wide range of applications and can be used in applications requiring both power and signal. The contacts are insulated with either natural or black liquid crystal polymer which helps protect against electrical noise. The female contact termination is designed for 150 mating cycles whereas the male contact termination is designed for 500 mating cycles.

The WP3-S050VA1-R6000 family of connectors are configured so that the male contact is offset slightly from the female contact. This offset ensures the secure connection between the two contacts and helps prevent accidental disconnections due to mate-mismatch.
