The WR-50SB-VFH30-N1-R1000 Edge Type Mezzanine Board to Board rectangular electrical connector product from EDAC of the Molex Corporation is a leading edge technology implementation of the Rectangular Connectors - Arrays product type. It provides a higher performance connector system that does more than just meet industry standards and requiremnents; it provides superior levels of reilability and ensures that maximum signal integrity with low emissions and crosstalk.

The main application fields for these connectors are in military and aerospace hardening applications where high performance connectors must properly operate in rugged and extreme environment conditions. This connector also finds applications in medical and telecommunication equipment.

The connectors are manufactured from high-grade materials that are restistant to temperature, corrosion and other environmental conditions. The contact pins are made from hardened steel enhanced with gold plating for maximum conductivity. The plastic component material used is UL and FM rated to ensure maximum durability. Other features of the product include low insertion force and a high resistance to vibration and shock.
