Working Principle

The WSU090-2500-13 works by converting wall power to a regulated DC output. It has a wide input voltage range from 90-264Vac, making it suitable for worldwide usage. The device is capable of handling high inrush currents up to 16A without damaging internal components and features thermal protection which is adjustable from 60°C to 90°C.

The WSU090-2500-13 employs a high-frequency switching gas discharge tube rectification method and a linear regulation method for output regulation. This allows for fast load transient response and high accuracy. The device also features a wide dynamic response range which helps with the stabilization of output voltages, even at maximum load conditions.

The WSU090-2500-13 also features various protection functions including over-power, over-voltage, over-current and short circuit protection, as well as a safety shutter to avoid accidental contact with live parts.
