It is a UART transceiver device which offers basic operations such as serialization, modulation, and frequency hopping along with several other features.The WT32I-A-AI61 is an integrated module, which includes an external antenna, along with an internal transmitter and a receiver. This module is designed to provide a flexible solution for the popular RF communications applications such as ZigBee, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It provides a simple connection interface, which makes it an ideal choice for embedded applications such as home automation, health care, automotive, industrial automation and remote control systems.The WT32I-A-AI61 operates in either 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz frequency bands and offers a range of data rate options from 2.4 Kbps to 2 Mbps. It is optimized for superior performance in terms of radio data rate, power consumption, signal-to-noise ratio and receive sensitivity. The module also provides a selectable power output up to 15 dBm and advanced features such as frequency hopping and packetized communication.The WT32I-A-AI61 is equipped with a range of features which enable it to provide a unique solution for RF communications applications. The internal transmitter of the module supports both non-data and packetized data transmission, offering multiple packet size options including 8, 10, 12 and 16 bytes. The receiver supports both frequency hopping and packetized data. The module can also be used with an external power amplifier for increased power output.In terms of applications, the WT32I-A-AI61 is suitable for a wide range of wireless system designs. Its low power consumption, long range and small form factor make it an ideal choice for use in embedded systems, home automation systems, health care systems, automotive systems and industrial monitoring.
