The WW1JTR430 Through-Hole Resistor is an economical, yet reliable, resistive element used in electronic circuitry. This device provides a static electric resistance, which can be varied and adjusted according to the desired operation. This device is manufactured in two basic configurations, a fixed type and a variable type.

The fixed type is usually identified by a series of four numerals. The first two digits indicate the significant figures of resistance, and the final two digits indicate the number of zeros following the significant figures. Since the resistor is constructed with a solid insulating material, the voltage rating can be applied to any resistor under the WW1JTR430. Commonly used voltage ratings are from 2.5 volts to 250 volts.

The variable type is usually identified by a series of three numerals. These indicate the significant figures of resistance plus the number of zeros following them. The voltage rating is the same as that of the fixed type. By adjusting the wire-wound element, the resistance can be varied over a certain range.
