X9313ZSI digital potentiometer IC is a non-volatile digital potentiometer which comprises an up/down counter, a latch circuit and a resistor array. This IC features power supply voltage ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V and enables the clock frequency of up to 300KHz when using the voltage of VDD=5.0V. X9313ZSI provides internal non-volatile memory (EEPROM), which can store wiper settings even after power is removed. It has a low current consumption and also possesses a reset function. X9313ZSI IC offers a total resistance of up to 1Mohm with a resolution of 256 steps and an input impedance of up to 100Kohm.

X9313ZSI IC, due to its outstanding features, can be used in all kinds of applications, including multi-channel light dimmers, RF power attenuation, adjustable reference control, Gain calibration in Process Control, adjustable power supplies and other power management systems. X9313ZSI IC works by storing a digital memory that contains the adjustable value of resistance in the device’s EEPROM. Working operation of the device is done through a 2-wire serial interface that consists of SCL and SDA ports. To set the desired resistance values, it is necessary to provide a logical high and low signals at the SCL and SDA ports, respectively. These signals are transmitted to the X9313ZSI IC, which reads and stores the data stored in the EEPROM in order to adjust the resistance values as desired.In addition, the X9313ZSI IC is capable of changing the output resistance values non-volatilely at times when stable operation is needed and also features Autotrace for allowing fine tuning revolution. At the same time, LED indicators and LED matrix connected to X9313ZSI IC can be used for displaying the current resistance values.
