The X9408YS24T1 is a Data Acquisition - Digital Potentiometer designed to provide highly accurate resistance values through a digital Serial Bus Controlled Potentiometer configuration. This pot consists of a 24-bit wiper which can be programmed to provide a resistance value anywhere between 0 and 999,999 Ohms. Furthermore, this pot is equipped with a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial bus interface, allowing it to be easily integrated into an array of digital systems.The X9408YS24T1 digital potentiometer is used in a variety of applications including power systems, optical systems, and audio/video systems. In power systems, these digital pots provide very precise voltage adjustments to compensate for loss of signal. In optical systems, they are used to adjust the focus of a lens, thus improving image quality.
