Ripple 7708EVB or Evaluation Board is a low voltage, Off-Line SMPS circuit built within a DC/DC or AC/DC configuration to provide a versatile power solution for evaluation purposes and development. It is commonly used for power applications in areas such as industrial automation, communications, military, healthcare, and consumer market. The Ripple 7708EVB is a highly efficient board designed with an integrated Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller. This controller is combined with a high-system components, MOSFETs, and ICs to regulate the total circuitry.
The Ripple 7708EVB can be used for various applications and comes with either a 10W or 30W variant to cover a wide range of power needs. It covers a number of reference designs that are optimized for power applications including AC/DC converters that use PFC Corrected PWM, Flyback converters, Isolated Power Supplies, DC/DC converters, Constant Current LED drivers, and Buck converters.
