Design

The VS-86HF60 is a single-phase rectifier diode with a low-profile metal case. Working Principle

The power transistor SCR is used to open the circuit of the power supply. When the input voltage is applied to the VS-86HF60, the anode is positively charged, which activates the PN junction. As the anode voltage increases, the junction becomes forward biased and current begins to flow. When the turn-on voltage is reached, the Diode turns on and current is released through the anode.The Diode then operates in a forward conduction state in which the applied voltage and current increases with time. As the diode is turned off, the result is a reverse current, which is suppressed by the special construction and high redundancy process of ECC technology.
