With the purpose of providing circuit identification and joining two circuits, marker strips are made of polyamide and come with information marks such as circuit numbers and wire numbers which can be printed or etched into the polyamide strips for easy recognition.

Working Principle

Marker strips for terminal blocks feature screw or snap-in mounting, which make an electrical connection with the terminal block. Both of screw and snap-in mounting method can ensure a reliable and secure connection in hazardous environments. When attaching marker strips to terminal blocks, all electrical wires have to be stripped then inserted into the corresponding conduit. The marker strips come with two slots to facilitate the wire insertion. Then, the terminal block strips will either be inserted into slot or be screwed in at the same time and port giving the marker strip the fastening needed. After wiring, the marking strip will be connected to the terminal block precisely.
