Working Principle: D-sub connectors use a mating system of pins and sockets to provide electrical connection between two devices. When mating two pieces of equipment, the pins of the plug are inserted into the corresponding sockets of the socket, forming an electrical connection. To ensure a reliable connection, each pin is held in place by a spring-loaded retainer.
